Episode 1 - August 16, 2023 - In Episode 1 of The Kershner Files, Dave kicks off his inaugural episode from the Augusta Precious Metals studio by providing an explanation for the preparedness show re-brand, discusses his summer hiatus activities, provides an ‘On the Road w/ Steve’ update, reads a fan mail letter, and discusses three articles. Episode 2 - August 23, 2023 - In Episode 2 of The Kershner Files, Dave discusses a number of different preparedness related topics. After a few updates, he provides an endorsement of Relief Factor and parlays that into a discussion regarding physical fitness. From there, Dave states unequivocally that the window of opportunity for people (friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family) to get his knowledge and assistance has now closed and explains why. He concludes the show by discussing an article about FEMA and explains how they can’t be trusted to do anything productive and worthwhile as it relates to ‘wild fires’ in Hawaii and are more likely to confiscate you supplies and firearms for re-distribution to the unprepared. Episode 3 - August 30, 2023 - In Episode 3 of The Kershner Files, Dave discusses a large number of topics, most of which are related to preparedness. In this weeks episode, he discusses:

  • How he and some friends went in together and bought a side of beef from Buckeye Valley Beef Cooperative.

  • The trial and error process for learning how to dehydrate foods using an air fryer.

  • Hurricane Idalia updates for Florida.

September 2023 (Episodes 4 - 7)

Episode 4 - September 6, 2023 - In Episode 4 of The Kershner Files, Dave discusses several preparedness topics of note and provides info on some companies you might want to support. In this weeks episode, he discusses his preparations for an early season goose and teal hunt with a shout out to Vance Outdoors and Boss Shotshells. After that, he outlines his trip to an arts festival where he found a local leather goods company called BBK Leather Designs. From there, Dave discusses a unique opportunity for a family to become part of a retreat of like-minded people and the details were found on JWR’s survivalblog.com. Episode 5 - September 13, 2023 - In Episode 5 of The Kershner Files, Dave discusses several preparedness adjacent topics. He starts the show with a dejected review of this early season goose and teal hunt. After that brief review, Dave presents some prepping adjacent articles around EPA emission standards for heavy trucks which will further throttle our supply chain and additional evidence that our 2A Rights are under attack. From there, Dave presents several videos. The first one shows the illegitimate one indicating that his administration is prepared to use extreme weather against us. Episode 6 - September 20, 2023 - In Episode 6 of The Kershner Files, Dave discusses some more preparedness adjacent topics. He starts the show with an “On the Road with Steve” segment that dovetails into a further discussion of the EPA standards that will wreck our trucking industry and the supply chain along with it. But that’s not enough for the left as Dave ties together a number of current events to further prove his most recent salient point regarding the left and their agenda to destroy this nation from within. Episode 9 - October 11, 2023 - In Episode 9 of The Kershner Files, Dave starts the show by acknowledging the atrocities in Israel and explains his decision to wait and discuss it in the weekend show once more information is available. Episode 11 - October 25, 2023 - In Episode 11 of The Kershner Files, Dave starts the show with some updates regarding upcoming gun shows and property for sale via Survival Realty. Episode 13 - November 8, 2023 - In Episode 13 of The Kershner Files, Dave starts the show by venting his frustration at this weeks election results and it pretty much goes off the rails from there. However, Dave does manage to strike upon a theme that ‘so goes the elections, so goes the society.’ As a result, this means that we are likely not going to see any semblance of sanity anytime soon. That being said, Dave suggests that various news reports, instances, incidents are no longer coincidence and you should be preparing for delayed elections next year, the possibility for martial law, and you need to top off you supplies. Episode 14 - November 15, 2023 - In Episode 14 of The Kershner Files, Dave conducts an interview with his friend Tom Dolbow. Tom owns an insurance company here in central Ohio and the premise of the interview was supposed to be how insurance is preparedness. But, because Dave is Dave, he and Tom waste no time veering off the pre-planned course and spend an hour discussing faith, family, politics, and current events in addition to insurance. Episode 15 - November 22, 2023 - In Episode 15 of The Kershner Files, Dave discusses several topics and manages to relate just about everything back to what he’s written in his book, Preparing to Prepare. First, he discusses a real life scenario where his vehicle maintenance tote kept him from being stranded sixty miles from home. Second, he presents his research results regarding the ability to quiet a generator. Third, he reviews an article that points out how several common items will become luxury’s in SHTF. And lastly, he discusses winterization projects and tasks now that the seasonal change is in full swing in the northern hemisphere.

Episode 18 - December 13, 2023 - In Episode 18 of The Kershner Files, Dave spends the bulk of the show discussing the pros and cons of purchasing large tracts of land as a group using a Survival Realty property listing in Kentucky as an example.
